Cinderella
Yep. This is happening. Don't fight it. Let it happen

"I hate you!" you shouted to your step-father, "I wish you were dead!"

"You mean like your parents?" he smirked coldly. You felt you chin tremble as the question sunk in and you spun to face the door and not that monster of a man.

You knew that he had killed your father. Your step-father had always had eyes for your mother, or her wealth, and when he finally promised his weapon a share, they killed your father. Then, a year after the marriage, another murder occurred. Same weapon was used. Everyone knew that the evil man and his henchman had done it. You swallowed harshly as a tear ran down your face.

"No," you say only above a whisper, "you deserve so much worse then that. You deserve to have your soul taken from you and your weapon to be killed in front of you. You deserve to rot in Hell. No, not Hell," you smile dangerously, "you deserve to live. In a cage. With no food or water or human touch. You should be forced to watch the murder of your weapon and of my parents over and over again until they haunt your dreams. You deserve to face your peers and tell then what you've done. Most of all," you brushed the tear and glared at the door, reaching for the handle, "you deserve to be cut for each false tear you shed for my mother."

As you pull the door open slightly, it's slammed shut again by a sledge hammer. Your step-father and his weapon chuckle darkly. You spin to face them only to be face to face with the man that claimed to be your father. His eyes had nothing by cool lust and you finally felt the fear that had been hiding for a year. You felt the weapon transform next to you and step back, watching the scene play out. Your step-father's smirk grew when you cringed after he reached towards you, rubbing your dirty cheek with a thumb. "What are you," he murmured, leaning closer, "Cinderella?"

Your (e/c) eyes widened as he attached himself to your neck, moving up, "No..." you whimpered, trembling.

Time skip

You closed your eyes and took a deep breath before stepping into your classroom. You struggled to pull a smile onto your face as you stepped in for the first time since the 'incident'. No one knew, which you wanted. You greeted Stein with a nod and went to your seat next to Soul and your weapon, Lilac. Lilac glared ahead, twirling her hair the color of the flower she was named for between her fingers. Of course Lilac knew, you were 'connected' to her, in a sense. Soul, on the other hand, didn't know why your usually monotone partner was suddenly fuming.

"Hey," he whispered, leaning close, causing you to cringe, "what's with Lilac?" he asked and you tried to stop shaking from him being so close. "(Y/n)?" he asked, touching your shoulder with a questioning gaze in his eyes. You felt tears well up in your eyes and your trembling persisted. Suddenly, a hand smacked Soul's away from you.

"Don't touch my meister." Lilac growled. Soul held his hands up in defeat and turned to face Stein before dozing off. Lilac turned as well to watch the teacher in disgust. You, on the other hand, stared at Soul in to corner of your eye. 'I'm so sorry, Soul' you thought, a tear that reflected your (e/c) eyes falling only to be swiped quickly by your hand. You then watched the teacher like the rest of the students, save for Soul, and pretended to care.

Soul peaked at you from over his arm and saw the tears silently leak from your eyes until you rubbed them away with your sleeves. 'She's so beautiful,' he thought, eyebrows furrowed in concern, 'so why would an angel weep?' Of course, he knew the answer. Something bad had happened to you. Though he wasn't sure what, he knew he had to save you from it.

Time skip to after school

"Hey, (Y/n)," Maka called, reaching for you but hesitating. Then her hand dropped and hung awkwardly at her side, "do you want to come over tonight and study for the meister's test that's coming up? Kid will be there and-"

"I'll study on my own, thanks." you say, staring at the ground.

"Oh..." her smile only faltered for a second, "Well, you're welcome to drop by anytime. Even if you just want to talk or-"

"I'm fine. Thank you for the offer." you said, turning on your heel to leave.

"(Y/n)?" Maka calls again, only to be interrupted by Lilac, who had been next to you the whole time.

"Just leave her alone, ok? She doesn't want to hang out with your sorry ass anyway!" Lilac shouted at the blonde girl.

"I-" Maka started.

"Why don't you just rot in Hell?" Soul shouted to your weapon. She gasped, turning to face you but you didn't see. You couldn't see anything but the door of your house. "You deserve to rot in Hell." You shuddered, remembering the rest that happened that night. You ran away, tears stinging your eyes again. You shook your head and run to a nearby lake. You hide behind a tree and wait until it gets dark. And then you wait til the sun rises. This is just like what happened when he hurt you, but you didn't want it to be. You stare across the water and watch. As you see it light the dark sky of the east, you stand and walk towards where Maka lives.

When you get there, you softly knock on the door, biting your lip.

"Who is it?" Soul asks gruffly, throwing the door open. You take a step back as his eyes blink the sleep away. "(Y/n)?" you nod slowly.

"I want to talk." you whispered. Soul, though questioning, stood to the side and let you in. You sat on the couch and told him what happened, tears running down your face. Soul sat next to you and held you tight.

"I promise," he said, voice muffled by your hair, "that I'll protect you."

You looked up at him, eyes wide, "Really?" you ask, afraid that he would jump back laughing about how he would never help a shy freak like you.

"I-I promise," he whispered, "Didn't I say that? It'd be uncool of me if I broke a promise to a sweet girl like you." You blush as he leans closer. As his lips are about to touch yours you lean away, eyes bright with fear. He sighs, blushing as well, and pulls back. "Sorry." he whispers, standing up. "I'll make breakfast for us." he smiled warmly at you.

"O...ok." you murmur, watching him leave. You yawn, stretching out on the couch. Closing your eyes, you curled into a ball in the corner of the sofa and fell slowly fell asleep.

I know, another Timeskip... Sorry

Soul put the eggs on a plate with some toast and walked back into the living room only to see you were fast asleep. He shook his head and set the plate down on the table. Carefully, as to not wake you up, he put a quit over your body. Then, he sat on the other end of the couch. He stared at your sleeping figure and chuckled softly.

"She's so cute." he said, leaning forward to tuck your hair behind your ear. He blushed softly, biting his lip. Then, he kissed your forehead before standing up again. He swiftly tucked his arms under you and lifted you up. "No need to have such a cool chick sleep on this couch." he said to no one, smirking his shark tooth smirk. He carried you to his bedroom and placed you softly on his bed. There, he tucked you in and left to sleep on the couch after eating the eggs he made you.

As you slept, a woman watched and smiled a sharp smile.

"What a pretty little girl!" she purred, "Oh but," Blair pouted, lifting the blankets to see what you were wearing, "this won't do as an outfit!" She rolled her eyes and snuck into Maka's room. "She'll be Cinderella and I can be fairy godmother!" she squealed, digging through the drawers that were filled with her clothes. After several hours, she giggled, finding the perfect outfit for you and changed it so that it would fit you, and ran back into Soul's room, leaving Maka stirring in her wake. There, she left it on the edge of the bed for you to find later that day. She left, humming, and, in turn, waking you up. Smiling you remembered all that happened earlier that night. Then, you looked around at where you were.

"Ah," you gasped, looking at the bed, "this is..." you blush and cover your face. You peak out again and look to see the dress on the edge of the bed. You stare at it for a while until slowly stepping out of the bed and grab the dress. You watched as a note fluttered to the ground.

(Y/n),

Dear, you are the cutest thing. I swear, when Soul started telling me about you I was so jealous but after seeing your cute face! Anyway, the bathroom is that door by Soul's desk and I left some soaps for you. Oh and that dress is for you! Isn't it the best! It wasn't really my style though so you can have it!

You smile at the (f/c) dress in your other hand and continued reading.

So, take a bath and get dress because tonight you're a princess! Love you girl!

XOXO, Blair <3

Giggling, you walk into the bathroom and peel off your clothes. You softly hum to yourself as you draw the bath. Suddenly, you hear the door open and you turn around, covering yourself with your hands. "Oh," you say, relaxing slightly, "Hey, Blair."

"Hi!" she grinned, tugging her towel off, "Can I help you get ready?" You sight, rolling your eyes.

"Sure," you gesture to the steaming water. She squeals and jumps into the water, splashing in front of her. You shake you head and step gently into the water.

You sit in front of Blair, pouting, as she washes your hair. Humming softly, she scrubs all the worry out of your soul and for a moment, or so you thought, you dozed off. Next thing you knew, Blair was shaking your shoulders. "All done!" she beamed, helping you up and handing you a towel as she drained the tub. As you dried yourself off, Blair stepped out as well and dried herself off. "Have fun!" she ran off, wrapped in another towel, to nowhere in particular.

You smiled and stepped into a pair of underwear that Blair left you. You hooked a bra on and stared at your dress. It's tight,

quarter sleeve top fit against your body well and you felt a breeze on your back where a small hole was cut. Though the top was tight, the (f/c) skirt flared out. You did a quick twirl before throwing your phone in a pocket and stepping to the door.

Before you go, here's some shoes! a post-it note read, pointing at a pair of white Mary-Jane heels. Slipping them on, you walk out to see Soul sitting on the couch, with his eyes closed, in a nice shirt and his normal jeans.

"Before you ask," he said, hearing your footsteps, "Blair made me-" just then he opened his eyes to see you. "Um... you-you," he stuttered, swallowing, "you look beautiful."

"Uh," you blush, "thank you."

"It's cool," he smirks, seeing your blush, "want to go?" he says, reaching out his hand.

You take it and feel him begin to drag you outside, "Where are we going?" you ask, sitting on the back of his bike.

"I don't even know," he yells, revving the the engine. He takes of, tilting his head slightly to get a better look at your smiling face. He feels a grin that threatens to crack his face as he watches you (h/c) hair whip back. "Want to go to the beach?" he shouts back.

You laugh freely, throwing your head back, "Sure!"

And to the beach you went. As you arrived, the water was a pure blue, reflecting the cloudless sky above. After parking, Soul helped you off the back and then wouldn't let go of your hand. Your face hurt from the smile but you continued to smile through the scarlet blush. Soul and you talked and laughed about trivial things as you walked along the shoreline, shoes in your free hand. You ended up stumbling to a cafe, feet burnt slightly from the hot sand. There, you both ordered sandwiches and continued to talk, slowly picking through your food.

Suddenly, through the laughter and the clang of silverware, you felt your phone buzz. "Hello?" you ask, trying to shush the laughing man next to you.

"I see you~" a voice sang and you felt your body deflate, grin finally gone and your face contorted into one of hopeless fear. "And I see your boyfriend," your step-father said darkly, "better leave before there's an accident." You swallowed and listened as the line went dead. You turned to see Soul staring at you, red eyes bright with concern.

"I-I..." you feel his hand touch your face and you shy away, another tear falling, "Please, Soul..." you struggle to keep the rest of the tears from flowing, "I have to go." you say, pushing your chair from the table and running out of the cafe. You sob, running from the now cold beach to a small cove where you hid.

"(Y/n)?" Soul shouted, nearing and you hushed you sobs so that only choked noises left your throat. Slowly, his voice was harder to hear and you collapsed to the ground, body shaking from cold and the sobs that echoed in the cave.

"It's alright princess" a menacing voice said above the cries, "this is for the better." You looked up to see your step-father and his weapon smirking devilishly above you. You tremble under their gaze and scoot back till your against a wall. The energy drains from your body as the pair steps closer and you cover your eyes, not wanting to see the looks on their faces as they hurt you.

"Hey!" a shout came from the cave entrance and all turned to look. There, Soul stood, proud against the setting sun. He glared at the two men that were so near to you, "Get away from my girl."

"Listen, kid," your step-father growled, angry, "you should leave. This isn't a place for little shits like you."

"Oh, right," Soul smirked, "it's for big shits, my mistake." Suddenly, his eyes went cold, "I just want (Y/n), alright?"

"Mm..." the weapon next to you pretended to ponder the question, "no~"

"Soul," you whisper, voice hoarse from crying, "just go. Please, I don't want you to get hurt."

"Sorry, (Y/n)," he teeth glinted in the light of the setting sun, "but I promised to protect you." With that, he ran at you step-father who now had his sledge hammer in his hand. Soul's grin became crazed as he attacked and finally, the two men were finished. As you step-father and his weapon fell to the ground, Soul walked towards you.

He squatted next to you, normal smirk back on his face. His shirt was stuck to his back so, as he relaxed to the ground next to you, he peeled it off. You stared at the now shirtless man next to you.

"Soul," you murmur, leaning your head on his shoulder.

"Let's get out of here." he finished for you, lifting you in his arms. You squeaked as he carried you out, landing one final kick to the moaning body of your step-father.

"Soul," you giggle, happy once more, "I can walk."

"I know," he says, jostling you once, "but this is fun!" You watch the water break, a pinkish hue from the fiery sky, as he walks you to a small picnic area. "Um..." he murmurs, suddenly unsure, "Blair... she set this up." You smile softly as he sets you down on the sand. You set your shoes down on the edge of the blanket and sit down. You watch as Soul does the same next to you.

"Soul, I-" as you turn to face the pale boy he covers your lips with his own. Through a shocked blush, you feel yourself kissing him back. His rough hand cradles your neck as the other one circles your waist. Though the kiss was long, it was sweet. Finally, you two break away, needing to breath.

"You're welcome," he panted, leaning his forehead on yours. "Let's eat," he grins and you continue the date like nothing even happened.

Sorry this took forever! I really am! But I'm sick, so bleh!
